Lebtech went virtual on 27-28 November 2020, Under the Patronage of H.E Nicolas Sehnaoui, former minister and M.P, to discuss the ICT sector’s situation and its role as a vector for economic growth given the current economic and political crisis in Lebanon, moderated by ICT professionals and entrepreneurs.
The panels covered economic insights, ideas for growth, digital economy strategy, the importance of Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity increased role and online education.
During day 1 of the event, Philip Warrak, Head of Robotics at ISS - ICC Group shed the light on how COVID-19 triggered businesses at all levels to adopt some sort of AI processes into their day to day operations. Philip emphasized the fact that many organizations are still not ready to onboard AI completely into their operations, especially that majority of prospects lack the knowledge of how AI functions.
Hasan Taher, Head of Digital Transformation at ISS – ICC Group wrapped day 2 of the event with a discussion about Edutech, its challenges and innovations and how IoT applications for smart learning and e-learning, smart education, smart classrooms, and smart universities have great potential, and may strongly support and significantly benefit the next generation.
